WHAT IS THE STANDARD BALLOON FLIGHT?

The Standard Flight is Cappadocia’s classic hot air balloon experience. Your adventure begins early in the morning with a hotel pickup, typically about an hour before sunrise. At the launch site, enjoy tea, coffee, and light snacks while the crew prepares the balloon. Watching the balloon inflate against the soft morning light is a magical moment you won’t forget.

Once airborne, you’ll gently rise above fairy chimneys, vineyards, and rock-cut valleys. The flight lasts approximately 60 minutes and can reach heights of up to 1,000 meters, offering breathtaking panoramic views. With around 24–28 passengers in the basket, it’s a lively and social experience — perfect for travelers who want to share the adventure with others.

After landing, the crew will host a traditional celebration, and you’ll receive your flight certificate while enjoying light refreshments before being transferred back to your hotel. This is truly a lifetime experience in Cappadocia.

Pickup and Schedule Details

You will be informed of the exact pickup time one day before your flight, usually about an hour before sunrise.

Age Limit

Children under 6 years old are not permitted on hot air balloon flights due to safety concerns and difficulty seeing from the basket.

Weather and Cancellations

If a flight is cancelled by the Turkish Civil Aviation Authority due to bad weather, you can either reschedule for the next morning (subject to availability) or receive a full refund.
